This place seems very poorly run. I wanted to try to bowl here , but its closed Mondays and tuesdays. Sometimes its only open for special groups but then immediately closes. Hardly any specials either except real late nite. ITs not only like this in summer but the school year too!! very inconvenient. this place is following the exact trail of Penn Bowl with ridiculously limited hours, alleys in shoddy working condition, less than clean, and exorbitant prices. its a wonder this is still open but for how much longer!!!Good thing for Hamilton that Curtis and Colonial aren't located much closer ( also both rather run down but still better than hamilton)

Hamilton lanes is ok. but it also could do much better. bowled here last nite. i-295 is right behind it. it has 40 lanes. the prices, considering the overall condition of this place is outrageous!! $3.75 a game before 6 and 4.25 after that is INEXCUSABLE!! i ll tell ya why. the lanes are synthetic, thats good. but for some reason the top caps of the computers fall off. (very ghetto!!!) the dude at the counter was nice but the phone was constantly ringing and he kept letting it interrupt us when i was suppose to be waited on (the house was nearly empty and i could tell he was the only person working there). that is extremely annoying !!. so he kept having to go back in the office to answer it (regular phone AND his cell phone) when there was a phone right there!!! it wasnt anything important and took a little too long.
as for the bowling, the pins were old and worn out (they flop down), at least a few years old. pin action however was fine, thanks to apparently well maintained side walls (bounce). the pinsetters are ok but i know why it takes forever for it to reset after almost every frame: they obviously dont have enough pins in each machine. ideally there should be 20 pins in each rack. 10 pins on the lane, while the others cycle around and refill into the carousel turret above the machine. this process should take no longer than a normal frame. There is NO excuse to have to wait 15 seconds for the machine to refill after making a single pin spare, or 20 seconds after a strike. and then charge such outrageous prices for bowling- there must've only been 12 pins in there if not less. NO EXCUSE for that!!! BUY SOME MORE PINS!!! theres even (donerite) which specializes in refurbished pins; google it!!! dont be so cheap. and how bout getting a website!!otherwise despite the few bugs, i like the place.

to inquiring mind: well, i dont think it even comes close to brunswick zones- the computer equipment is out of date compare to brunswick and the machinery( the way it runs) does not compare to brunswick zones (very good, the best). but the prices are the same (awful high). so i recommend u go to brunswick- its money better spent.

the good in this place lanes are always oiled before we bowl, beer prices are very good, and they added a 2.000.00 dollar sponsor to the lg. the bad to many machine problems.

i like this center for the most part, it does need new monitors and a rug. the new help around there is a big improvement. the prices are a little high except on days they have specials. place is kept very clean inside, but building is old and not so nice.

i think that the owners of this lanes should come and see how dirty and badly run this blowing lanes are the whole places needs a face lift starting with mike the manager who is never there comes in for a hour then have the kids run and have to listen to all of the problems. this guy should be replaced. i liked to have the number of the company of this place so i can give them a pcs of my mind. teh food is over price and not enough of it. the lanes are dirty sticky and not well maintain. putting money into bar instead of the lanes that make you money.

I have been bowling at Hamilton Lanes in the Senior League for ten years. I never bowled seriously until I came here. I love the place and the fine group of guys and gals that bowl here. I never bowl anywhere else. I think they keep the lanes in good condition and whenever there is a problme they hastily repair the same. The help has always been friendly and courteous to me. I intend to continue bowling here as long a I can. Keepem rolling.

I like the hamilton lanes just fine! besides, look at all the other alleys around... cutis, colonial? they are pretty disgusting on the inside. I think Hamilton does a fine job. No house is gonna look like slocums though... they only have like 15 lanes. Give em more credit. Plus, its cheaper to have a ball drilled there.

I think that Bob was the best thing to happen to hamilton lanes, he deffinatly knew alot and how to run a bowling alley, i also think that chuck leaving the proshop didnt help. but bob ran one of the best bowling alleys around, shame for him leaving, the new manager doesnt really know anything.

I'd like to take the time to thank "P.A." for their kind words. I am not sure if I know you personally, but, they are certainly appreciated.
There have also been derogatory comments made against my family & myself. I would appreciate the comments ceasing, unless the individual who posted would stop hiding behind their computer screen and say it to my face. I have no problem with anyone not liking me, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But, what I do not appreciate is comments being stated about myself & my family in a nasty way behind our backs.
I’d also love to hear while you feel my mother & I have no talent whatsoever. I guess she’s in the hall of fame for no reason and I average 214 “just because”. Therefore, please feel free to state what you’d like, as long as you show your face.

I'm thinking of having an "adult" bowling party there... Do they have a bar or allow booze? Not to get trashed but to have a good time.

I was never a league bowler at Hamilton Lanes but have bowled in countless tournaments there throughout the many years in which I have been bowling in Mercer County. Years ago Hamilton Lanes was one of the better houses in the area with many great bowlers and competitive leagues. It is unfortunate to see the drastic decline in this center in recent years.
I will say that the name Bob Bucci was and will always be synonymous with Hamilton Lanes. It is a great shame that this man is no longer the manager of Hamilton Lanes. I will add that I am neither a family member nor very close friend of Bob but I have seen what he has done for Hamilton Lanes and the sport of bowling in Mercer County for all these years.
Mr. Bucci will always be remembered as one of the classiest and well respected bowling center managers Mercer County has ever seen. Bob has dedicated his life to the sport of bowling while helping many bowlers and organizing some of the best tournaments Mercer County has ever seen.
My hat goes off to Bob Bucci and to the ownership of Hamilton Lanes, shame on you for losing such a great man!

This place is great for family. But the last I time went to the lanes the guy at the front desk was very unpleasant. I believe his name was Chris. He was rude and kept rolling his eyes. He must have something up his... But beside that we had fun.

We(group of four)just played two games ea. plus shoes @ $50. Nice clean house. No Smoking :-). Pleasant, helpful staff. Only one draw back WE felt , $3.50 for a shoe rental seemed steep to us.
You can rent roller skates @ most places for $2.00 or $2.50. Skates are much more involved than bowling shoes.

This place is great. The place just got a brand new kegel oil machine, redid the tiles and ceiling, got a new paint job, and looks alot better. The person at the desk on the tuesday night I was there was so friendly, and very helpful as he took care of everything we needed. I have also been in during the day and the manager of the place was extremely friendly. This place has changed so much for the better. I rate it as 5 stars.

Bad oil patterns is not the fault of the workers at these lanes-the oil machine that is used is old and out of date, and a new one may or may not be on its way (depending on the ownership, otherwise the regulars are friendly and the other workers are great!

People running the place are extremely friendly and always ready to help you out. The Gentleman running the pro-shop is also very friendly and knowledgeable. Place needs some up-keep like any other old center, but all in all it is a great place to bowl and have fun!

The place really needs smoke eaters that work. Walking into this house is like being in a dungeon. The people running the place are first class, but the house needs more lighting and get rid of the smoke.

Very poor house to bowl at. Old computer systems that are on the fritz most of the time. None of the computer technology is up to date to any of the local houses. The lanes never work properly always causing long delays for games. This house can never keep a consistent oil pattern for league play. Players bowl alot of bad games here do to overall conditions
