i called to the bowling center to ask about prices and specials. first of all the man that answer the phone said that tuesday night was a bad night because they were so busy. and then he went on further to discourage me from coming by saying that there were no specials or coupons available. you all have just lost my business for tonight a party of seven.

i went yesterday and it was alwesome but they could lower the prices of food just a tad. i loved how they have a lil rolly thing 4 the lil babys so they can bowl and i love that my brothers can bowl but not get gutter balls b/c of the rails.

Strikers is a good place to hang out but strikers need to have more money in there lanes like for example most of the bowling centers i went to has atleast a glow bowl day or something like that and i think the glowing of the pins and lanes are a good feature for a bowling alley to have!

This is the coldest place I have ever been in. The snack bar has a guy that works there that has to hate every one in the world. I do not think he knows how to spell the word smile. He has to hate his mother. The waitress staff if you do not buy thr big ticket items does not know you are alive. The place has to be unhealthy for all. The smoke can not be good for the children. Have you heard of second hand smoke kills? The language that comes from some of the mouths are words that I have never used. I have complained but nothing has been said to any of them. To me I would rather see a nice play ground built there and bull doze the center tothe grond. So management get your head out of your *** and wake up and smell the roses. Clean the place up.

I think that the owners would do something about the rude staff!!!!! There have been sooo many complaints and nothing done about it. As a store manager myself, I know that it doesn't matter how much you clean the place up if the customer service is terrible! Don't be LAZY owners. Look'slike it's time to fire and rehire!!!!

in reguards to the comment about having to throw your beer away....strikers is not in the city limits. they are in the county. and that is a LAW. it MUST be gone by 12am or they can be fined. so thats not the bowling centers fault.

Everyone is right on the rude staff. Bunch of young punks that dont want to work. Not to mention the fact you can tell most of them are on something. Doesn't the owners care about thier investment enough to clean the place up and rid the drug using rude staff so that more respectable families will want to visit than the normal teenage i just need something or somewhere to go and hang out for the night so i dont have to be at home place. Why call it a family sports center. It should be called a teen club for makeing out and the underdressed. I find this place nasty to take my child. Dont want them to think it is ok to go to a family place and act the way that the staff and costumers that need to be asked to leave do.

We have a good time at this bowling alley. I will agree that the staff is rude, and if you purchase beer before last call plan on it being GONE before 12am on Saturday nights. We were told by the security officer at 11:53pm that we need to CHUG our 3 pitchers we bought at last call or they would be thrown away at 12am....and then b/c we couldn't drink that much that quickly (or safely) the staff took them and dumped them. Also we have never had less than an hour wait.

This is an awesome bowling alley. They have a great staff. Good food and awesome lanes. This is the only bowling alley I go to and compared to any other it's the best. I love going to Strikers. It's a awesome place.:)

I've been bowling there for over a year. I havn't had to many complaints at all. The lanes are great and best around. For the one who commented that there are better places around within 15min your an idiot, the closest lanes around is either Charlotte or Lancaster and Lancaster lanes will eat your ball up. Since I've been there they have redone all the seats and brand new ball returns, so who ever had a problem with that, they are now brand new. Scoring system, havn't seen a problem wtih it maybe they have done an update on their system. Strikers has some of the best lanes around, the employees are wishy washy but you don't go to a bowling center to make friends you go to bowl. There has been lots of new things going on so if you had a bad experiance before you should try it now cause they are doing great!

First of all, I am sure that there are good and bad things to say about every bowling center that you've been in. Some of the reviews that I have read since my last comment are just uncalled for. I bowl there on Thursday night on the Christian Fellowship League. I can't honestly say that ALL my visits have been " THE BOMB " but I can say that the staff are some of the most professional people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The only thing that I would like to see happen at this house is for them to host some scratch tournaments for the bowlers that average 200 or better. It just isn't profitable for us to bowl in the 9pin no-taps. Hey Chuck or Howard.....How bout it????? May GOD bless all who read this !!

Don't waste your time going to this dump! There are too many nice lanes within 15 minutes of here. The place is filthy, the staff is rude, rude, rude and the food is too expensive and nasty. If someone set it on fire it would do a quarter million dollars worth of improvements!

What a pathetic excuse for a bowling alley! The people are stuck up, the prices are too high, and the food is too greasy. I shall never set foot in that dirty little facility again.

This is the worse house I have ever had the pleasure to visit. The employees are rude and disrespectful to non-regulars, the equipement "eats" your ball and the place is a general mess. There is new scoring equipment installed but it is not reliable. I will never again, bowl here. I will do my bowling in Charlotte.

Let's start by saying..WOW WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT !! I would hate to even guess how much revenue has been put into this facility in the past 2 years. Howard, Cindy, Chuck and the rest of the gang have done, and are doing, a wonderful job of customer service. Last Thursday, my wife's new ball came back from the ball return with a big chip out of it. Chuck was notified immediately!! I am currently waiting to see what they will do about it. Other than that, I am very satisfied with Strikers and its employees! Hey Chuck...I still think you should let me drill the head! Ha ! Ha !

The hard work and money that has been put into the center has made it much safer and a better family place to be. I have heard that the largest youth program in the state is run there on Saturday morning at 10am. Before they could not get 60 youth and now with the support we have over 100. Thank you, Howard and Cindy and Staff.

I used to work at Strikers when it was called Fairfield Lanes. The employees that I worked with were always showed the customer respect and courtsey. I haven't been there since it was bought and turned into Strikers but from what I understand from family and friends who used to bowl there have told me that it is totally different. Most of the people that work there are rude and show no respect for the customer. This is all second hand information and will have to find out next time I visit there.

I called Strikers about 4:45PM today and talked with John who told me that "We don't have leagues or groups on Friday night" and "We have plenty of open lanes until 11 tonight." So my family and friends drove 30 minutes to Rock Hill and met at Strikers at 5:30PM. We went inside to the front desk and were told that they had only 5 open lanes and they were already taken and that about 1/2 of the total number of lanes had been reserved for two groups. I asked why John told me that they had "plenty" of open lanes when, in fact, they had none. The black gentleman had no answer and thrust some coupons in my hand. My family and I turned to leave and my wife looked back to see the black fellow that I had spoken with and a white chunky young dark-haired fellow laughing at us. I decided to go back and ask for the manager. When I did, there was another lady to whom John had told the same thing. I asked to speak with the manager. A young bald fellow came out from an office and repeated what the black fellow had told me and said that they could put my name on a waiting list for lanes - when over 1/2 of the lanes were sitting empty. By this time I had had enough and told the manager that even though they had remodeled the alley and added the latest in electronic scoring, if there customer service stank, then it was all for nothing. Due to the disrespect of and disregard for a customer, I can no longer recommend this facility to anyone.

Hey. I love this bowling alley. I bowl there at least twice a week every week. It is so much fun. I have yet to try the black-light midnight bowling, but I am going to ask my friends to see if they want to do it this Friday. If not, I can't wait to see you guys again every Sunday during the Youth Adult League.
