Crestview is the best bowling center in town by any standard. The people that complain aren't really bowlers just unhappy people. Who takes off their shoes in between balls(really?) The prices are the best and the lane conditions are the best. they only have a couple of employees on duty and you don't really have any contact other than paying and them turning the machines on. What do they want, the employees to give them lessons? All the haters, find somewhere else to bowl. I doubt you know how to bowl anyway....I have been bowling there for over 10 years and have very few problems compared to other centers that I have bowled at in the past.;..

We love to bowl and the prices sound great, but honestly some of these comments scare me. I am not sure we will choose this place, based on what I just read. One thing I noticed there no other recommendations for any other places. why is that?

My friend and I took our kids to Crestview after
school for some bowling fun...the cashier was very strange, unhelpful and rude. We won't bowl there again

I use to hang out around crestview lanes all the time with my friends from highschool and most of the time we wouldnt even bowl and floyyd is a nice dude he never gave us problems or kicked us out or anything and most places when they see a bunch of highschoolers roaming around their lanes theyll instantly kick them out but not at crestview theyve always been a good place to hang out and just have fun and all these people saying rude and untrue things about crestview are liars just trying to give them a bad name because they have nothing better to do with their pathetic lives. {Deleted rant that has nothing whatsoever to do about Crestview Lanes}

Made my first visit to bowl there Saturday afternoon 10/24 (had visited at least twice before to survey the lanes after reading earlier posts here). My friend John and I had no problem betting lanes around 4 p.m., and we were treated fine by Floyd and company. Nice, well-kept "true AMF" lanes overall; the prices were reasonable; and the nacho fries were okay, too. Based on our experiences there, we would bowl there again.

Crestview has the best bowling. I've been bowling there for 9 years and havent had bad service or anything. the food is great and everyone there is friendly!!!!!

Wow... I just called there today 1/2/09 @ 2:40pm to inquire about their rates. The gentleman who answered the phone (no I didn't get his name, but I should have) was very rude and uninviting. I've bowled there before in the past, many of times. My husband and I used to bowl in a league there. But because of this gentleman's attitude and unwillingness to help me with my inquires on their rates, I can honestly say that I WILL NEVER BOWL AT CRESTVIEW LANES EVER AGAIN! Having that kind of attitude does not deserve my business or anyone else's for that matter!

steven - everything isn't black or white. bad service is just that, bad. i won't go to crestview because of attitude issues. vote with your dollars and quit playing the race card.

I didn't want to bring the issue of race in here, but I believe this place is run by discrimination. I won't disclose what my race is, but I will say that I'm not white. I've bowled here before, maybe 2 or 3 years ago. I had a good experience. In fact, I had a wonderful experience. I recommended this place to many of my family and friends. However, I recently didn't have the best time here. First, as I approached the chubby cashier, he sounded like he didn't want my family to be there. He said, "I wouldn't bowl here if I were you." When I heard that I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he may have meant something else. Therefore, I decided to rent some shoes and bowl here, while putting what he said aside. While my family were happily bowling the night away, some of the employees there had quietly gathered around to look at us bowl. My family and I wondered why they were hovering over us while we bowled. As it turned out, the cashier came up to us and said that we needed bowling shoes in order to bowl. Okay, yes, my brother didn't have bowling shoes on because he took it off after each bowl and simply forgot to put it on. But that wasn't the point. The point was that there was a white family right next to us who bowled without any shoes! I even have pictures to prove it. And on top of that, the cashier didn't even tell them to put their shoes on. He walked pass them and just smiled. From that moment on, we felt we were constantly being discriminated against. I'm not done just yet. As we continue to finish our bowl, one of the employee(who appeared to be in janitor clothing) came up to us and said that one of the adult had used a child-size bowling ball. We know the rule, and it wasn't one of the adult; it was my little baby sister. It was her birthday so she wanted to bowl for my brother's turn. At this point, I have had enough. We came into this place in a happy mood and left with a furious grin. I'm never going there again. I highly recommend this place to you if you're white. And go ahead, don't waste your money on "required" shoes. You can bowl without them. But if you're a different race, please get the shoes and get ready for the attention because you'll be getting plenty of it.

I bowled here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the cheap price per game rate. When I went it was only a dollar fifty a game. The staff was nice and they even printed up my scores and stats for free when I finished. I would highly recommend Crestview Lanes over the other lanes here in town.

damn.... my favorite place.. this place is pretty good... they got funny staff and its just fun. lanes are great .not to greased up.. and i dunno about the food i bolw really late. xD

yea i use to bowl at crestview...its really freat they have great people like Joe and Demus and coach Gonzo and the other coaches when i was there and i miis my old bowling buddies there tyler sadie brandon derek daniel david n them other peoples tht i used to bowl with on fridays and sat.

my two girls,my son in law and i had a wonderful time together in the lounge at crestview lanes last sat. nite people were very pleasant our food was delivered at our table and it was very good, played pool sang kareoke and spent a nice time. having left first i was informed the next day my kids were JUMPED in the parking lot as they were leaving, one went to ER one has black eyes and one had her cell phone destroyed. this group of people that hurt my children have yet to pay for this crime, they were unrecognizable since it happened so fast. this needs to be addressed by someone in authority at crest view lanes. my kids called 911 and made a report.....

Crestview is so awesome. I love the freindly, family atmosphere. I have been bowling there sience I was born practicly. I mean my grandfather was ne of the manegers. But, i LOVE CRESTVIEW

Family owned, very friendly helpful staff. Lanes and bowling areas are clean. Snack bar has great food. Good open play rates and fantastic late evening rates. There's always people bowling, but be prepared to wait for lanes until after league play in the evenings.
