I agree that some employees can be harsh sometimes but definately not everyone. Diak is an amazing employee and Dave in the snack bar can make a mean dish. Majestic is the cleanest bowling center around and offers a veriety of leagues and features.

I agree with most of the post, the customer service given by some of the employees is horrible. However one person I deal with often that is always helpful and has a smile on his face is a guy named Diak, hes great.

Of all the bowling centers in this area I think this is the best one. Everyone has such negative coments about the center. I believe the people that work there are very nice. You have to give them a break! When there are 30 people standing in line waiting to bowl demanding this and that anyone would get a little short tempered!! People are very rude to the people working there. As for the food. Its OK for fast food. The prices did go up alot last year. All in all I would rather bowl there then any other lanes in the area.

The manager of that facility has to go. He is so rude and arrogant. I don't understand the "dirty" part. It's a clean facility. Prices for food and bowling are rather steep. You'd think with the bowling resurgance the last couple of years prices would decrease. I guess not. league bowling pay very little difference then those who are not league bowlers. I think the food is pretty good. Definately overpriced though. Tech City is the same way. The one thing that has to change is the manager. He's a real idiot.

ive heard of nightmare stories for centers that were corporately owned.ie....brunswick majestic. they live up to every nightmare possible. lousy food, manager is the most ego-maniac ive ever met. went to amf sunvilla and totally opposite. decent food friendly staff. price comparatively similiar. brunswick higher ups need to remove this manager and replace all staff

An employee has finally reacted on the numerous negative feedbacks, he or she is right, an employee can not have a positive attitude when management is always critical of everything they do.Lead by example, praise your employees everytime they do a wonderful job, have a feedback box for customers to express their frustrations or wonderful experience there in your center.Incentives to motivate staff is also one way of improving everyones' effort in customer service. For God sakes SMILE!

I have been bowling at the facility 4 or 5 times and it is unbelievable how the staff is always rude. I don't live in the area and the bowling center I attend in my neck of the woods is great. I feel this facility is lacking in proper customer service training. Why do they hire these type of people?

i agree it does start with the management. if they weren't on the employee's a**es all the time then maybe the employees would be happier. but in the eyes of management all we ever do is wrong and no matter how hard we try we will never be right. it feels like there is constant criticism never praise. i'm sorry that this is affecting the customers, but if management can't appreciate a single thing the employees do for them it makes putting on a happy face so much harder

So much has been said about the rudeness of the employees, the ridiculous prices and the manager that walks around and acts like some kind of God. Not a single praise, do something about it before you go out of business! It would be a shame, you have a very nice center. Good luck on re-constructing management.

Very rude employees and management at the desk. They do not seem to care if you are there or not. Seemed like we were putting them out. Their prices are too high. We had to ask for shoes and it seem like such an imposition and then they were to big even though it was our size. We had to wait while the employees were done talking and then it was like don't you know your size and then he threw them down on the desk. As you have quessed we have never been back nor will we ever

The staff does not have any training on Customer Service. They don't appear to care about the customer. I wonder if they are empowered to solve problems rather then ignore and dismiss them. I usually bowl now at Glacier Lanes or Majestic. Much better pricing and staff

{comments deleted} Are you going there to meet new people or to BOWL. after all it is bowling alley...not a social joint to make friend with staffs. if i were getting paid minimum wage and having to deal with annoying little children and people complaining about it...it wouldnt bet pretty. JUST GET OVER THE "RUDE" STAFF.

The reason most of the employees at Majestic appear to be indifferent or rude is, like most businesses, it starts at the top. The main manager walks around like some "God" like presence and never greets people, never shows like he's happy they're there or any resemblence of caring about anything that goes on at the alley. I've been bowling there for over ten years and it wasn't more than a year or so ago that the lanes looked like it may not stay open (due to lack of business). Now there is lots of people almost every night and the manager acts like he's the "S***". Sorry, but the business picked up because of the non-smoking law, NOT the management and the staff. Maybe they should get a grip before business starts to fall off again. Good leadership. That's where it all begins.

** I bowl league at Majestic Lanes, and cannot understand why so many people think the employees are rude ***
I also Bowl Leagues at Majestic and I have to say that although the Front desk staff is generally Good, the other personel are either incopenant, or like everyone else has mentioned, RUDE and Very Un-Friendly. As opposed to localbowlr, they are going to be the main reason that I go back down to Bellevue and bowl in their leagues... I moved up to Everett this year and joined this league. next Season, I am gonna drive the 60 miles (RT) just to bowl at a nice, considerate & friendly place. Who would of thought I would be picking a place in Bellevue over a place in Lynnwood, How IRONIC....

This bowling alley is th worst i've ever been to....the staff is unfriendly, i mean how hard is it to just put a smile on your face to the customers that pay you're measly $8.25 an hour. The lanes by themselves are good, but that is the only good comment i can leave. Way to overpriced and the food is ridiculous.

After being told we would have our lane pulled from us, despite having numerous other open lanes. We ended up being charged nearly 50 dollars extra to have our 6 year old bowl also.
I called the following day, as my english parents paid without realising, to be told by David the supervisor, that its not his problem, and to call back in a few days when his manager was in. After asking him what he CAN do rather than what he cant, he told me nothing, and put the phone down -
I would recommend that NOBODY uses this service!!!
They lie, they are useless at dealing with customers complaints, and most definately, over charge!!

We just held our annual fundraiser at Brunswick Magestic last Sunday and it went so smoothly. Johnna and her staff were very efficient and when I needed additional lanes they were quick to switch around their regular patrons to make our event go without a hitch. This bowling establishment is first class - the front desk, snack bar, game room everything was clean and first class. For handling an event of 100+ people - they make it look easy. Thank you for making my job easier!

Incredibly rude staff! The lanes are nice but not worth the headache of price and attitude. I think I'd get better service from a fast food burger joint than this place. so if you like overpaying for lanes, dealing with rude staff and bowling with wannabe yuppie pr!cks, hey have fun.

I stopped in yesterday with my husband and 2 kids for the first time since it has been smoke free. The remodel looks fabulous! The employees there were so helpful and upbeat! I now remember why I loved bowling at this center! It is the only place my family and I will go. Well worth the drive from Marysville!

We've been going to Majestic for 10 years now. Service is always my complaint. The front desk is slow and unfriendly. Hard to believe this when they handle so many children's birthday parties. As for the interior itself, yes, it's nice and the non-smoking feature help with the kids jackets and clothes not coming home smelling like smoke from a Birthday party. Recently, food has improved and we found the staff at the grill shockingly nice. So, front desk people....smile a little and enjoy the people that are paying your salary...your customers!!!

This place has the best lanes and machines but the customer service is poor and the prices are usually $4.25 a game that's freaking crazy. The cosmic bowling music blows and they should make better choices about that. Good pro shop except they follow the drilling rules like little women.

I have to say that Brunswick is one of the nicest bowling centers around and I have been to a few. They are newly remodeled which is very nice it's a lot roomier than most places. It is on the high money side but if you have ever actually been to the bowliny alley there are times in which there are specials going on every night of the week except on the weekends. Which of course it's going to be on the high side. Now the employees there are some there that could use a better attitude at times but who doesn't have a grumpy side. But there are some really nice employees there.

This bowling alley has decent lanes, I have pretty much bowled at every bowling alley around and the lanes are decent at Majestic. Yeah the prices are too high, but you have to know that if you are a league bowler there the house will give you so many free games that you wont have to pay for open bowling very much. Also after 9pm on certain nights the bowling is a buck a game even in the winter. There are pros and cons to everything. The food s*cks, and Brunswick changes managers too often but the place is clean the lane conditions are solid and it looks as though they will stay in business, unlike everyone else. So go bowling.

As a bowler who gets around to many bowling centers in the state of Washington and carries a respectable 216-220 average, I can say that Brunswick Majestic Lanes is not too bad of a place for BOWLING. The prices are VERY high due to the area in which it is located. Mill Creek is home to many 'above average' income people and the facility is located very close to them. If they'd check out other bowling establishments in the area, they'd find cheaper rates. While I stop by there to only practice on the synthetic lanes(summer specials only) when I'm in the area, I don't bother to talk to the pro shop guy or hang around enough to see how the employees treat customers. Problem is though, word gets around very easily in the bowling world and if reliable individuals are being treated rudely or unprofessionally, then it'll give that center a bad reputation, plain and simple. That's why league bowlers move to other houses. Being that Brunswick Lanes is run by a 'corporation', they can run it as a business just fine with all the kids stuff, etc., but you must also cater to the league bowlers and run a house like a 'family' and not as only a business. You give a bowler a sense of familiarity and friendliness and they'll tell there friends and so on. Also, they'll be sending there own kids to bowl there in the future due to the atmosphere that the house exemplifies-thus more $ that the house brings in. Brunswick had a great reputation when it first opened up, being that the manager actually knew something about how to run a bowling alley and not just a business, but it has definetly tailed off the last few years. In fact, I managed to bring two 5 man teams over to my league that I'm secretary of at another house as well as two 4 person mixed-teams to another league that I'm also secretary of. Thats a total of 18 people. That would tell me that at least those people didn't really enjoy their experience at Majestic enough to remain there. You treat people right and more will follow.

You know all the negative comments about you people must be true if the only people saying good things about you are YOU. How sad. The staff is rude, bottom line. I don't care how nice the facility is, it can't possibly make up for bad customer service. As far as the comment about Majestic being the only nice center that you have seen, I have a suggestion: LEAVE YOUR HOUSE ONCE IN A WHILE AND GET A LIFE! However please feel free to come on here again and toot your own horn. It just proves everybody's comments right about you people being rude and arrogant.

As an employee at Majestic lanes for just over 5 years, I cannot believe people would say things like this! As far as the prices go, it's all about quality! Recently (in the last 3 months) there has been complete remodeling of the alley. The only "nice" looking bowling center I have seen myself. It IS on the higher side of the money scale, but well worth it. As for my fellow co-workers and I, all I can say is believe what you want, but you'll never know anything until you experience it for yourself. Then come back and tell all the people who already posted reviews how great of a center we are and how nicely you got treated from the excellent staff!

Solid Bowling Alley. One of the nicest in the Everett-Seattle area. Glacier Lanes blows. They oil the lanes to (expletive deleted). At Majestic, the prices are high because people will pay them. It's always packed during peak time. If you don't like the prices, then don't go, the guy behind you in line will be happy take your lane and pay those rates. Secondly, only a handful of employees are rude, but then again, if you're making minimum wage dealing with ignorant people and their hellish children, you would probably be rude too. Therefore, in general, if you're a true bowler, looking for well oiled lanes, no overly bs, friendliness from employees, and solid specials, Majestic is the place to go.

My husband went into the pro shop to check out new balls and find out about having his regular ball re-drilled. The pro was quite rude and told him just to throw away his old ball. She did not try to inform him about the pros & cons of the ball he does have, just "throw it away". His comment: "Why would I buy a new ball from you..." Guess the rude people are in the pro shop, too.

I would have to agree with everyone else. Majestic is OK for a bowling alley, but yes. Employees are rude and prices are way beyond what they should be! But, you have to admit, when they have specials, man do they have specials! I have to also agree that Glacier Lanes in Everett is much cheaper, however, only has 16 lanes.
