|Well Anonymous, would you rather those low life teenagers be out on the street doing unimaginable things on Friday and Saturday nights or out bowling having a good time with friends? Be a little more graceful and learn to share what belongs to EVERYONE in this community and not just you.|

|im a league bowler first. fun bowler second. i understand the buisiness side of a bowling alley buis. leagues are money makers true. but the general public has a right to bowling times as well. and yes. the teens too need a time to go out and play. hang out etc. think of all the kids that hand out for neon bowling friday sat. nights. would you rather see them out drinking and drugging on the streets? i think not. ive gone to bowl on a weekend night and forgotten the kids are there and just gone back home. NEVER thinking those teenie boppers have taken over. leave things the way they are. keep out kids safe and off the streets. let them enjoy the lanes too. just another league bowlers oppinion. thanks. ken scofield. ohh yes. leagues SHOULD be posted on line . |

|I will never waste my money at Center Bowl. Why? Because you can use Center Bowl's 2-for-2 coupons that you find on the back of Fred Meyer and Carrs receipts at Jewel Lake. Games are half the price as well. Lanes are always in good shape, excepot on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I think that the maintenance of the facility could be improved. For example, the floor is sometimes sticky before we have league or something will happen to a pair of lanes, forcing the teams to relocate to another set of lanes. As far as atmosphere and space, Jewel Lake is probably the best place in Anchorage that I have bowled. Unlike Center Bowl, where the lanes are directly past the seating area, Jewel Lake has about 6 feet of space separating the lanes from the seating area. I prefer to bowl at Jewel Lake because the staff is very friendly and laid back. Trophy Lounge also helps with the ambiance of the alley as well. The food id very good, with the Teriyaki Chicken as the favorite entree. There is also a full-service pro-shop there, but is never open. Balls are too expensive. Might as well buy them online. But they do a good job drilling. |

|league bowlers require lanes to be oiled. and then sit there and b*tch about every freakin little thing.
The lanes are too oily.
The lanes are too dry.
There's a dust bunny 300 feet away from me disturbing my concentration. and of course I'd never bend over to pick it up, that's someone elses job.
With the Teeny Boppers, there's very little prep, they pay top dollar, they bowl fast, they buy food and drink, (not just coffee and then b*tch the coffee is too hot) and they only b*tch about their girlfriend takin off their top. |

|I agree that the league thing shouldnt be so pushed out of the site. The other stuff should be kept but at least an equal amount of stuff about the leagues should be put. I used to bowl league there and I think its worthy of bein on the website|

|I can not believe a bowling center thinks more of it's after bowling teeny bopper crowd than it does its leagues. Friday night bowling "What the L" has been virtualy pushed out the door so they can start the loud music & moonlight bowling. Our league is getting really tired of being treated like second class citizens of the bowling community. Be careful Jewell Lake Bowl or you will loose a league that has been faithful to you because you are so greedy.|

|I think they should post league standings on the internet.|
