Dennis Lockhart is the best manager this center has ever seen!! The service is wonderful and the lanes are in great condition. The last comment about the manager threatening to call the police I believe is untrue, Dennis would not do so unless provoked. And if said person were going to leave without paying this would be considered illegal. Dennis is wonderful...This bowling center is top notch!!

3/6/09 - After waiting 1 hour for a lane, our # was called. They put us at lane #24. Lanes 1 - 20 were asked to finish by 6 pm. Before we paid for 4 sets of shoes I asked if there were any restrictions to our lane. The attendant said you may bowl as long as you wish. 20 minutes later they asked for lane too. I asked the manager to refund our shoe rental of 3.89 each, he declined. We bowled one game each. It cost us 4.89 per game. I told the manager that I was not going to pay for the games we bowled and he grabbed his cell phone and threatened to call cobb county police. I told him I wish he would so I could have him arrested for theft by taking. After calming down he moved us to lane 31 but failed to errect the bumpers after we asked him 4 times to do so. I will never bowl there again. In times like this every business should extend gracious customer service in order to attrack business. Turning a family of 4 away cost Azalea Lanes 50 dollars this time and 1000's more in the future.

I went to this bowling alley sevreal times for open bowl and a lock in. Good lanes, staff seemed nice. No complaints

Iagree with you sexy Sally,I myself am a nonsmoker,i have lung problems asthma.I wish bowling centers would have a no smoking day,I mean who wants to choke on someone else's smoke or smell like it after only a couple hours of bowlingand having a child inhale it too while he or she is trying to bowl? I'll just call you Sally as I don't even know you, I only read your post just now. Wehave no smoking on Saturday up until 5:00pmat the place I bowl inSC.Itis out of consideration for the youth /childrens'league on Saturday mornings,they start around 9:45and finish just after 12:00pm.

i've been bowling at this place since i came to Georgia in `92 and i've seen its ups and downs and i would call this place, anywhere i go my home bowling center. you can't please everyone all of the time but i get treated very well and i bowl in a league or two every year. so if you wanna complain about every little thing then go someplace else. i love the people, yes they may change staff now and then but what center doesn't have its issues. and just about every day of the week i can go there and enjoy myself. good food, lane are decent, and if you don't know how to adjust to changes, cause no bowling center can be the same every day of the year, then you need to go get lessons on how to bowl. this is my house. love it or leave it.

i dont agree with any of the downing comments, I have enjoyed this bowling ally for 10 years without problems, if you honestly have problems dont go simple. find another one, others enjoy this place and service, and as one of the employees closes friends He and his staff are very happy, and maybr kitty is sometimes a little lazy but shes a great manager!!

from what i'm reading and seeing on the star chart'i'm left with the same impression and not even from GA.,SC actually.I don't like to judge before I see for myself.sounds to me that some serious chyanges need to be made and FAST,like push the reset button for a fresh rack if you will. Whatever it takes If it takes some people from Brunswick to come and save Azalea Lanes by training everyone how to run a bowling center and customer relations seminars. I believe this because I deal with people in grocery business,treat the customers right and they will come back.I've made mistakes too,but have owned up to them and got forgiven for them.We just have to makie up our minds to learn and grow from them so we can do better This center and any other business has alot of potential to become better if effort is put in and can benefit from experience of the right people.In order to receive help we first must acknowledge the need and ask for it.That is how we mature as people so we can do our best at whatever we apply our energy towards.I sincerely believe this center can benefit from this beyond measure.

Management is terrible, I agree with last comment about MS.KITTY and lane conditions. Management should take training from the Bartender on Monday nights, we are there every Monday and we know who runs the place.

I agree with the last two comments about management and the lane conditions. I am not a senior bowler but have been bowling there since they opened and seen many managers. Kitty is the worst yet and it shows in her employees, they are always unhappy, never upbeat and seem not to really care about us, the people that give them money to stay in business. Management never listens to us with our compliants and never does anything...I wish we had Matt Dillon too!!! Anybody could do a better job than the management now, even my 18 year old.

My boys and I go to the lanes on "dollar night" and always have a good time. I'm sure "leaguers" avoid this night like the plague since there seems to be a lot inexperienced bowlers there trying to learn the game on the cheap. We always have a good experience, but I do think some of us amatuers need to learn about bowling etiguette and allowing the bowler next to you to finish their turn before going up to the lane. That's the biggest violation I see at the lanes. Overall, we love it!!!

I just read all the comments and I wholey agree with the lane condtions and the management. I am a senior bowler over 65 and I have been bowling for years and this center is awful. Management is terrible and I wish Matt Dillon were here.

The lanes are in bad condition. League bowlers are always complaining to the Manager (Ms.Kitty) The manager cares nothing about the people or the employees...I am a secretary on a league and there are so many complaints concerning the conditions of the lanes and most of all the management. Also some secretaries are allowed to stay as secretaries and not bowl...should be stopped. The lady's bathrooms are terrible..need to renovate now. Thank you for listening...I could go on and on but it never helps...nobody ever does anything about Ms. Kitty and the conditions of the place..I know I have been bowling there since the lanes opened... Thank you .

Smoke is too much for non-smokers. Nice bowling alley and lots of fun for my son who's 7. I enjoy watching him play and watching lookers watch him, great outlet for family.

-Lane Maintenance very sporadic for Senior Leagues(no oil, some oil, lots of oil from lane to lane, not same for all 40 teams) -Ball Racks too small compared to Cedar Creek -Ball Speed displayed is incorrect -Pins left standing display is incorrect -Forward table too close to Ball Return -Screen Display too small for majority of Seniors -League Standing Printouts have many errors -Recap Status at end of League hard for most Seniors to read -Can't turn off Graphics and Sound, very distracting for Bowlers. Also slows the game down.Cedar Creek version can turn these off. -Table seats not comfortable for Bowlers, 1/2 are facing the wrong way. -No convenient place for Ball Bag Storage, only open floor.
