|I've been to all sorts of bowling centers in the Memphis area. Bartlett Lanes is the best one. The food is good. The bar is top notch ;) The employees are the nicest in the world. They will help you with anything. I'm not a pro-bowler so I don't know anything about lane conditions but my best game was at this bowling center. (202) At other bowling allies it seems like their lanes aren't maintained like they should be. There are plenty of bars in Memphis. I don't drink a lot but I choose Bartlett Lane's bar over just about any bar in Memphis. They have a wide enough selection and their prices are unbeatable. Listen to me people, make Bartlett Lanes your first choice!|

|Obviously some kids are using their parents computers. Comments about how the staff are paid? Good grief, obviously these are comments of disgruntled Juveniles. This establishment is first rate. The lanes are cleaned and well-mailtained. The bathrooms are spotless, the food is delicious and Chad in the pro shop knows his trade and has a gret little pro shop.
For adults the lounge is well-stocked and offers a pool table, darts, a juke box and one or two video games.
Management is courteous and keeps the riff-raff out. The parking lot is safe and well-lit and the clientele is perfectly well-behaved.
If your bowling needs help they can hook you up with USBC trainer L.C. Brown who can take your game from Blah to Boom in a couple reasonably priced lessons.
Bartlett Lanes is everything a bowling establishment should be. The place is aces all the way around.|

|This is a modern facility in very good condition. It's a good place for family bowling, as you occasionally get some teens acting like idiots (bowling with 6 pound balls from all the way back at the seats, etc.), but you don't get gangs and dangerous types. I like that it is smoke free, and the food from the snack bar is pretty good. Chad's Pro Shop has a fair selection of balls and does a good job fitting and drilling them. As for the employees, their attitude is kind of hit-or-miss depending on their mood, sometimes they treat you more like an annoyance than a customer; but that's just Memphis -- customer service is always mood-dependent in this town regardless of the product/service or how much you are spending.|

|It's a damn good bowling alley. And there is nothing wrong with the lanes. People will blame their bad bowling on the lanes that are oiled just fine. I do however agree that they should spend more money on the employees. Especially the employees who do a damn good job. They deserve more raises and benifits. It would make them try even harder. Most people who work there couldn't survive on their own salary alone. And if you got a guy who does a damn good job cleaning up the place show your appreciation and pay him good! It's better for the business in the long run. Spending money on flat screen TV's and other B.S. isn't really what's going to make people come to this center on a daily basis. A good staff who makes the bowling alley what it should be will. And if you pay them low wages and not give them raises then even the hardest worker will start to lose his/her drive. There's one guy who used to work their. He was a prom. Quiet guy but very nice and he was a damn hard worker! I'm sure Bartlett Lanes didn't pay him enough. Maybe that's why he quit? I don't know but they shouldn't spend all their money on just cosmetic BS. Other than that it's definately the best bowling alley in the Memphis area and beyond.|

|I bowl @ Bartlett every week for one reason or another and I have found that if they would invest a little more money in their staff and the lanes then they do in the upgrades such as the new flat screen TVs, then they will have an awesome alley! Appreciate the employees and they will do a better job. My first suggestion is to upgrade the ventilation system instead of adding automatic bumpers.|

|I recently bowled there and I thought the shot was challenging, but also very rewarding. If you can find your line, you will bowl well. I live in Alabama and stopped by to bowl a few games on the war to St. Louis. Very nice center.|

|This is an official pba practice center, so if you want to become a better bowler, recreational or professional, you must practice. No one gets better when you only bowl on one lane condition or, if you only throw the ball one way. If you complain about lane conditions, then you are not a very good bowler. A good bowler is versatile and bowls well on several conditions. You may find any condition in this house, so check your ego at the door, practice and learn something.|

|I was treated like a jerk at this place. The lanes are all messed up with too much oil on the outside. I strongly don't recommend them to anybody.|
