Why is this business not listing its hours, if a person is from out of town and wanted to stop by, it is important to know when its open, just poor management to not want to seek business!

This bowling alley was awful. I guess people have the Urge to pick their ears when bowling there because the bowling balls had an excessive build up of wax, earwax that is, around the thumb hole area. So yea not going back until they invest in some Q-tips.

OMG I guess me being the non bowler that I am, they probably would have loved me! I never really thought about it but not bowling very well did make me more likely to spend every dime I had before I left. WOW!!! But thanks for the scientific study results. I don't know how I have come this far in life without figuring this out on my own! And to think I thought I new everything! Goes to show ya huh? Oh and p.s. the poker machines, well, they are HUNGRYYYYYYYY!!!

Thought you should know what happened when we tried somewhere else ................. This was our first and LAST trip to Venture Lanes. We had a mixed group of professional individuals. We gathered at this business for a birthday party. From the very start it was a terrible experience. The staff was EXTREMELY RUDE !!!!! The staff refused to allow a birthday cake to be brought inside, and advised us in a loud COMPLETELY obnoxious voice. Hands down Town N Country Lanes in Nitro is top notch compared to this bowling alley. If I was the owner I would fire every last employee and start all over. If I had employees that acted towards the public the way this bunch did I would be mortified and ANGRY !!!! Good luck to others who pass thru the doors of Venture Lanes you will need it.

I've bowled at T&C a few times. I'm not that great of a bowler, but now I know what part of my problem is....the lanes! The price is rediculious for the service. I know why it's never crowded.....it's not a great place to bowl. Wish there was a DJ on weekends to rock the place out! That would would at least make it more fun and enjoyable for all ages.... :)

The service at this bowling alley, has always been great for me, and my friends who frequent it. The lanes are relatively good, and aren't nearly as bad as some of you are saying. I am in a league, and it is ran very well. The turnout for my league is pretty good week after week. Also, I can say the owner, and management stay is diligent in taking care of their customers.

This bowling alley is the worst. A blonde middle aged woman working the front counter charged for 2 games of bowling that someone else in my party bowled. Instead of fixing it or even apologizing, she replies " well your friend will just owe you." No lady, that's not how customer service works. Your job is to fix it you idiot. This place needs some serious work on their manners and customer service. Completely ridiculous.

The lanes arn't as bad as what people say. They are good but not awsome. Im a 45 year old marine i was a msgt in desert storm and iv been around all kinds of bowling lanes and iv seen worse. There is one is kentucky I belive where a person has to set the pins up. Above all i rate the lanes around 88 out of 100. But above all of that just be thankful you have a place that is fun and you can enjoy to go to. Id rather be there instead of shooting iraqis with a M-16. I have terible memories of war. We all do. No body wants to kill anybody. But if some of the ones who posted their comments on here was in iraq killing and scared they would be very thankful for what they now have cause there Marines and army men risking their life for our freedom. We need to thank all of the men and women who served our country. **NOTE** - Thank you Josh for serving our country! - B2U Staff**

Thanks T & C for being the worst manage bowling lanes in the country. All you guys care about is your 5 machines and your bar thats,s only opened to your convienace. Get real ,you care nothing about the leagues there and they are getting fewer. You should close and open another car lot. Poor management lazy workers thats Town & Country

This has to be the worst set of lanes i have ever bowled on. If the new owners haven't done anything to improve the shot i feel sad for them. The previous owners didn't want good bowlers in there, they said that they don't spend enough money....

Towne 'n' Country recently changed owners and the prices have changed, as well. Regardless, this remains one of my favorite places to bowl. Growing up, my mother was a frequent bowler on leagues, so I spent plenty Friday nights here, doing my best to score strikes, visiting the arcade, and cleaning out the snack machine. As I grew into my teenage years, pool tables were added and I spent hours on those, as well. And now, at 26, I've watched the pool tables and arcade go as the section was converted into a small bar/lounge. So, my only complaints are the rise in prices and the fact that the only activity remaining for smaller children is the lanes (which, I guess, is why it is called a bowling alley). The lanes are top-notch and the variety and quality of balls is great, as well. The food tastes a lot like the old-fashioned redline diners. If you're in town, drop by and enjoy a game or two.
